Prefectural Tournament Arc[]
Akiko's only appearance is during Kiyosumi's first round match of the prefectural tournament. She manages a positive score in the east round, but plays into Mako Someya's baiman hand in South 2nd and ends up losing the game.

- The name Akiko means "clear, crystal" (晶) (aki) and "child" (子) (ko).
- Akiko's surname Mise means "three" (三) (mi) and "swift current, rapids" (瀬) (se).
