Daisuke is the first person to suggest a connection between Kiyosumi High School's Saki Miyanaga and Shiraitodai High School's Teru Miyanaga after watching Saki play in the final match of the Nagano tournament.
National Tournament Arc[]
He was present along with Junko Nishida in the tournament halls. He did not make the trip with her to investigate the Miyanaga household and instead stayed behind with Kumiko Hanibuchi
