Hina Yamatani (山谷 ひな Yamatani Hina) is a supporting character of the Saki Achiga-hen episode of side-A anime and manga.

Hina has short light brown hair and purple eyes.
Biography[]
Hina is a student at Yoshinoyama Elementary School. She was a member of the Achiga children's mahjong club before it was disbanded. She is shown throughout the manga and anime cheering on the Achiga mahjong team with everyone from the old children's mahjong club. Hina is almost always seen with Sakurako Gibbard and Aya Shizaki.

Final Eight Arc[]
Hina appears with Sakurako Gibbard and Aya Shizaki before the start of the final eight matches. They watch the televised broadcast, wondering who will call Achiga's match.
Etymology[]
- Hina's surname Yamatani means "mountain, hill" (山) (yama) and "valley" (谷) (tani).
