 Mayuko Tajihi (多治比 真佑子 Tajihi Mayuko) is a second year at Shouan Girls' Academy in West Tokyo.

Appearance

Mayuko has long black hair tied into pig tails and brown eyes. She wears the standard Shouan Girls' uniform.

Plot

Prefectural Tournament Arc

Mayuko is briefly shown during the Saki anime being defeated by Awai Oohoshi during the West Tokyo prefectural finals.

Final Eight Arc

In Saki Achiga, Harue Akado and Shizuno Takakamo comment on Mayuko's match in the prefectures where they say Mayuko played pretty well until Awai Oohoshi declared double riichi. Harue also mentions she did amazingly during the individual tournament.

National Championship Arc

Mayuko went to Kyoto to visit her family home on her mother's side.
