Sangamaki High School is located in northern Osaka Prefecture and are rivals with Senriyama Girls'. Despite Kei Arakawa's impressive strength (placing 2nd in the 70th interhigh's individual tournament), Sangamaki's combined power was not enough to defeat Senriyama and they did not advance to the national tournament.
