Sophia Arai (新井 ソフィア Arai Sofia) is a third year at Koshigaya Girls' High School.
Appearance[]
Sophia has brown hair that is tied into pigtails in the back and brown eyes.
She wears the standard Koshigaya Girls' uniform. Sophia has darker skin in the manga than in the anime.
Plot[]
National Tournament Arc[]
In her second round match, she was defeated by Toki Onjouji but managed to place second. When her team didn't advance to the next round, she is shown handing a water to Keiko Yagihara in the hall way.
Final Eight Arc[]
Sophia and her team were also seen after the vanguards' match at the side B semi-finals.
Playing Style/Abilities[]
Although it is rarely shown, Sophia has enough skill to place second behind Toki Onjouji during the quarterfinals of the national tournament with a positive score. It is hinted that in the second half that she focused more on speed and attack Kuro Matsumi's weak defenses, allowing her to squeeze by with a point gain.
