Yayoi Yokeguchi (除ヶ口 弥生 Yokeguchi Yayoi) is president of the elementary mahjong team during Toki Onjouji's time.

Introduction Arc (Toki manga)[]
The president arrives late and blames it on the school being too big where she comments with Tae Kurachi throughout the match and gets upset when she thinks Ryuuka Shimizudani and Ayumi Shinji aren't playing to their fullest. Later she acknowledged Toki when she came from behind and decided that she wanted her in the mahjong club. She then saw how good Ryuuka was and flipped out about her skill level. In the end she invited the girls to participate in the mahjong club and told them they owed her one for letting them play that game.
Izumi Challenge Arc[]
Yayoi, Chie, and Tae throw a party for the girls. After a warm welcome, Yayoi says Ryuuka will be the pillar of the club but Toki reminds her that she invited all four of them to join. She says that they can work on getting stronger and gives Toki her opinion on the previous match and how she could've done better. She then praises the girl. With a few conversations and activities they all decide to play three player mahjong. She pairs with Toki and Youko. When the games are finished and the girls leave, Yayoi, Tae, and Chie begin to talk about the Malefic Star of a mahjong club.
Practice Game Arc[]
The mahjong club take a hike up a mountain for special training. During this trip Yayoi informs the girls they will have a practice game. This excites Toki and she brags to the others about defeating Ryuuka in the previous game they played against Izumi. This shocks Yayoi and she grabs Toki and asks about other people. Ryuuka steps in and tells her it was just Izumi. She then tries to play it off. Yayoi then tells them that they will be playing against the Malefic Star.
The day of the practice game, she announces the rules for the games and that only two people will be joining them. Izumi arrives and Yayoi is quick to mention that she's just a bonus player. She then introduces Sera Eguchi. Yayoi is seated at a table with Sera, Toki, and Ryuuka. Starting the game, she makes many silly mistakes from being so nervous. She then thinks back to when she tried to talk Sera into endorsing her for the club team. Sera refuses until she sees Ryuuka and decides to play a game against them. Back in the present she continues to be nervous. Tae notices that Yayoi is extremely nervous and making silly errors. We then get a flashback. Chie and Tae were the long members of the mahjong club till Yayoi appeared. They play a game and work together till Yayoi wins a hand. Chie and Tae accept her as a member and tell her club activities are two days a week. Back in the present the two girls write encouraging words to Yayoi on a cup when they see her struggling. This helps the girl out of her funk. She then hits Sera for 8,000 pts. Unfortunately Sera takes over the game and wins by busting Toki. Toki is so excited and it wasn't until Yayoi comes over to congratulate her that she realizes the game is over. hey thank each other for the games and the girls leave. But before Toki and Ryuuka leave, Yayoi explains everything to them an apologizes.
Confrontation Arc[]
Toki goes to Yayoi and the mahjong club and asks for a game to settle things with Ryuuka. They agree. As the match starts, we see Yayoi record everything. She is seen making commentary throughout the match. At the end of the game, she is shown crying.
Joining the Mahjong Team Arc[]
One month prior to Ryuuka and Toki joining the team, Yayoi tells her father that she is a sub on the team. Her father then tells her that all of the family will be there to cheer her on during tournaments. At the club, she tells this to the members and Rine Sonezaki jokes that she should invite her father to be the record keeper for the team. Rine then says that Yayoi is almost a regular member and Sera has just joined the team. Realizing that if Sera joins her chances of becoming a regular go down, she gets depressed. While sulking in a stairwell, Chie and Tae run into her. Yayoi yells at them for joining the ping pong team but then begins to cry. She tells the twins of her worries and they end up comforting her.
Upon the arrival of Toki and Ryuuka, she immediately greets the two and introduces them to the president of the club. As the crowd gathers around Ryuuka, Yayoi notices that Toki is alone and goes over to her and comforts her. She is paired to play against Toki, Murato, and an unnamed member. During play she talks about Sera to Murato before the game is quickly ended by Toki.
At the middle school tournament, she admonishes Toki and Ryuuka for arriving late. She tells the girls if they notice anything about the match to take notes. After the match, she tries telling Toki about what a vanguard means but was insulting to Murato who overheard everything. Yayoi tries playing it off and tells her that she has a meeting to go to.
